I grew up in a little town. Hartsville. Hartsville, SC to be exact. Apart of the "Brewer Ave. Connect." Born in the year of '85.
Very southern. Very rural. Very different city. Over the last few years, it's growing into being more eclectic in style. Still has the same small-town feel, but the heart of the city seems bigger. More gentle and accepting than I can recall from my time of being reared there. You know, in my brown skin.
I was raised by my grandparents, Richard and Alberta Addison. Even in their transition from earth-side, they remain some of my favorite humans. Taught me to love hard. Be open to the differences of others. To always share what I have and be mindful of others' needs above my own. To be kind and show grace. Most importantly, Alberta Addison taught me to know, love and revere God, and Richard Addison taught me to never meet a stranger.
So I followed their teachings, and that's what led me here. I am a wife to Nygel. A mom to Grayson and Addison. An educator. Daughter. Sister. Friend.
And, most importantly, a woman after God's own heart and intricate design. Praying that I can use my words to heal God's people... #ManifestationsMadeVisible #MMV
